carter yf 7039 Crab Fule Line

    Im puzzled by the 2 apparent fuel connections on top of the fuel bowl of the Carter 1bbl. One has a female threaded connector and the other is a flared hose connector. They are right next to each other. If I attach the fuel line to either side fuel comes out of the other connector. It appears to be a return line to the fuel tank? Ive plumbed it with a return line to the tank and runs fine. Anyone know if this is the proper way to hook this carb up?

    On my old Carter 1bbl the second hole is plugged, appears to factory. If it runs I wouldn't worry about it. Usually the extra fuel line comes off the fuel filter.
