I don't think you will be happy with the results.

Measure. I'm sure the angle will be too large. Check the Tom Wood's Driveshaft tech pages for "Drivelines 101" about acceptable angles and how to measure them.

yeah I think I will use a 20 and do a 2 stick setup so I can keep my 4 and 2 dice (the year)shift knobs.
I have 2 20s but they are behind auto tranys.

What sort of engine are you running? You may want to keep the D18 for a possible overdrive. Can't do that with a 20.

If you get a driveshaft with dual CVs then it is doable. But that will cost more than just getting an offset rear. I put a centered axle under my rig to see what the angle is and it was real bad. I guess people do use it if it is a strict trail rig only, but on the road you will have vibes.

What do willys pickups wagons and fc's have for a rear end? Im thinking there centered but they have a d-18. If they are offset could that be used in a 2a or is it too wide. I know flatty guys usually run a dana 44 but if they are offset what do they come out of thats the proper width? Im obviously thinking of upgrading my axles because it would be stupid to get lockers for my stockers

PU's also have long long WB's, reducing the drive angle over time.

I have seen a jeep set up like that. They used it to plow and to play in the mud. Seem to go ok without any binding or extra wear and tear.

I tried it for a while the opposite way, a d20 with a offset D44. The driveshaft was in a terriable bind from the side to side angle, up and down it was good but the side would bind. I actually had to grind part of the yoke to make it clear. Eventually I went ahead and swapped in a d18 to keep everything in line and correct.

Your options are limited - Most choose to build a custom setup or (like what I did) put a FF setup in the rear (it is a D44 after all) to get the 30 spline. I put an OX locker in mine front and rear.

I think for a longer wheelbase rig you have some leeway for an offset shaft, for a short wheelbase vehicle it will bind. I am nto sure what the axles are in a FC, i beleive they used a Dana 53 in some rigs
