... where do you guys go to get your JEEP parts? I've got a weeks vacation next week and am looking to tear into my clutch. I "think" my clutch fork/ throwout bearing is damaged in some way, because it keeps "loosening" (loses pedal pressure) when I adjust it and won't hold the pressure whenever I depress the pedal. My plan is to buy just the fork, TO bearing and pilot bushing; as the entire clutch assy was changed 3 years ago and there have been no "normal" clutch problems noticed besides that stated above... Wish I could find a source for the clutch fork pivot! TIA for any advice...

Before you tear into this, be sure to check the linkage for cracks +/or broken welds. I once had a Rambler that gave me these same symtoms. As I was driving into the garage to replace the cluch fork, the pedal went clear to the floor and stayed right there on the floor. When I crawled under the rig, I found that the arm on the bellcrank had a broken weld that allowed it to peel away from the pivot point. We could tell from the breakage that this had been going on for some time. I removed the bellcrank, welded the arm back on, reinstalled it and with a little adjustment was on my way! I am just trying to maybe save you some time and perhaps some $$ as well. If you have some help, jack it up, crawl under there and while your friend works the clutch pedal look to see if you can spot some excessive play somewhere. The play should be fairly easy to spot. Good luck, Matt W.

I'm closing this thread, it's redundant and repetitive. Panzer already gave the link to the thread that lists parts suppliers here, yes, Walck's and others are mentioned there already.
