Which cam can I use with stock pistons and rods? Which cam(s) will I have clearance issues if any? The motor is stock, this is the first rebuild also where do you guys recommend purchasing the cam kit? Anyone from dallas ,tx know of a good machine shop? I'm thinking of using Big City Motors for my machine work.
    Thanks
    Marc

Oh for those of you who are following I finally got the pistons out.

I have never used the Isky cams. I will say that for low end power you can not beat the COMP 252H and if you want a little more top end the 260H has worked well.

To answer your question with the 252H, no.

Further, I'm not aware of any issues with any of the cams I have listed.

252H gets my vote, it's in my 225.

:iagree: If you use it off road, go for the 252H. Makes lots of power without compromising low end vac. Really happy with it myself.
