Update... I tore the dana 20 down as far as I could. I had trouble with the front cover and the shift pins. The cover would not come off over the pins. Anyways I got ****ed off and brought the whole thing to the tranny shop to get new seals and bearings. I didn't want to mess with it anymore because its getting warm and I have alot more to do to this jeep before I drive it. Im sure its going to be a few bills, oh well. And another thing, how do you loosen the allen head bolt on the shift forks? I tried and gave up. Another reason for bringing it in was the cost of a dial indicator, $80. at Sears. A little to steep for my one time use.

While it has been a while but I got the tcase back. It had a bearing bad and a spring between the shifters was broke. All new seals and they even painted it. put it in today and went for a little drive. All seems well.

    Thanks everyone!
