jeepster tie rod length power conv.

    hello boys and girls,
    quick question for the knowledgable jeepster folks out there. im doing a power steering conversion and i just put the new two hole steering knuckle on the right side tonight, and the old tie rod seems to short the one i have from my old ross set up is 36.5 inches does anyone know the correct length that i need for the conv. thanks for everyones help.:v6::):):):):)

    needs to be in the 40" range, less the ends, if I recall.

    I'd check and measure a replacement for an intermediate CJ, 1972-1975.
    Maybe one of the aftermarket suppliers could measure one for you.
