T 14 Transmision / Dana 18 gear

I resently traded my rig for a 71 cj 5 I drove her home about 60 miles and 5 blocks before I got home I lost what I thought was the clutch and I had to be towed home. Today I pulled the transmision and transfer case. I noticed when I turned the input shaft the transmision gears turned but the rear yoke didn't move I removed the access cover from the transfer case and found the out put gear off the shaft and spacer and nut siting in the pan. Is this comin? There doesn't seem to be any damage to the gear should I replace it or can I just reinstall the old gear?

 

Nope never heard of it happening. It was a fluke someone never tightened the nut properly.
