I'm new to all of this so just looking for some help. I have just bought a 1975 CJ5 I want to put in a roll cage. Where is the best place to get a roll cage and soft top with it. I also want to lift the jeep anyone have a lift kit they recommend for this jeep. Thanks for your time.

Best I can tell from what I've searched on this site is the 4wd.com lift. Don't get me wrong though, I haven't lifted mine yet so I can't say for sure, but it seems that the folks that have used this one seem to have posted that they are happy with the results.

My advice would be to search the forum for lift threads. This seems to be a pretty redundant question and I think some folks are tired of posting answers here.

There are quite a few good lifts out there. It will depend on what you want out of it ie, mostly street use, trail use, ride quallity, tire size, and most importantly, budget. As far as the cage goes, most guys build their own but there are some pre-bent cages and "sport-cages" the you can buy but they are all fairlly pricey. Best bet would be to buy some tubing and befriend someone w/ a welder. Alot of muffler shops will bend the tube for ya if you know the angles & lengths you need. Good luck w/ the build.

4WDH was my recommendation, before they stopped using BDS springs...

    Now I'd suggest BDS.

I like the Rubicon Experss Extreme Duty system in mj '80 CJ 5. Go with a cv joint rear shaft and skip the TC lowering blocks.
