    Hello Jeepers

New to the forum, nice place here! I have a 71 cj5 used for working, plowing, etc. I purchased a Novak adapter to put my 283 chevy on the t-14 and following info from their web site removed the steering, found a saginaw steering box, now I find this great site.
My questions are about the tie rods and connecting to the sag box. Is there a thread with pictures that show this? Also pictures of the building and placement of a new front crossmember? What radiator choices are there for this swap?

    Thanks

Sombody will have pics. Usually you use a 1-piece tie rod and separate drag link. You can either use the Jeepster tierod end with two holes, or a D27 knuckle from a Wagoneer will have a different arm with two holes.

IIRC there's a bunch of Saginaw conversion pics in the gallery - have you looked at those?

Welcome from Golden, Colorado. With my 283, I run a 1961 Ford crossflow radiator. You'll have to have a radiator shop switch (and maybe resize) the inlet and outlet ports to match the 283. When I bought the jeep, in 1970, i believe it had a Jeepster Commando radiator in it, but I don't know anything about it.
