I got rid of the Carter after it decided to leak fuel out the throttle linkage onto a nice and hot maniflold and decided to go with the Weber conversion. I got the shiny parts all bolted on. Fairly simple process, only problem is now my throttle cable is too long.

Anyone have any ideas on how to shorten it or a replacement cable purchased to fix the problem?

This is the Redline kit? They should have some advice for you.

If not, I'd suggest that you try the accelerator cable from a later CJ that comes with the BBD, say an '81 or later. Your FLAPS should be able to get the cable, and if they are nice, they won't make you buy it if it won't work.

I think I got if figured out. I will post up pics later tonight after I get my new accelerator cable. (Kinda ruined the original one in a failed attempt to make things work.) Thanks for the suggestions.
