More Seat Upholstery Inquiry

I have pored over the past threads about seat upholstery, types of seats, etc. I have the early type seats with springs, which are originals in my 65 CJ-5. From what I can gather, a lot, but not all of these seats were 2-tone vinyl with the sides of the seats being a different shade than the immediate seat and back (the part that your cheeks and back come into immediate contact with). I have found some designs to be ribbed where as others were a basketweave or something similar. I am wondering if vinyl design and color was year specific and how will I be able to find out which year offered which style and color? I guess I am looking for a cigar aficionado of jeep seats. I could very well become that person by the time I have finished my research. But I really hope there is someone who has the poop on this already.

Is there anyone who has a dealer's book of options for the 1965 model year? I want to be dead sure that I re-cover my seats with the correct material, color combination and style. EVERYTHING else on my 65 is as original as can be had with the exception of the red heater box on the firewall - which I intend to remove, paint black and reinstall. I am looking to get this rig as close to 100% original as possible. I don't want to mess it up on the seats. One time upholstery cost is what I can afford. So if someone could help me reach bliss with this, I would be grateful. If that person makes it to the Spring Midwest Willys Reunion in Springfield, IL in May, I will bring good cigars and Shiner Bock to share. Thanks! Kevin

I don't know about the chances of any photos out there floating around of orignal upholstery.
