    Hello Folks
    I Am Looking For A New Starter For My 1955 Cj5.
    It's Ok For Now But It Needs To Be Replaced.
    I Am Having A Hard Tim Finding One.
    Any Ideas

    good luck if you find one it is high dollar your best bet is a rebuilder had mine rebuilt it cost 90 dollars as good as new if not better

    didnt take time to look but i assume its a 4 banger, if so :iagree: from what i here the toyota landcruiser will fit,check some of my early threds,i lucked up and found one, i was worse off than you i didnt even have a starter, so if you have a L head or F head have it rebuilt,or be prepared to drop some $
