    A '51 would be an L-head, wouldn't it? Didn't the F-heads come out in '54?

I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

The F-134 came out in 50.

Edit:Jim never did mention what engine he was asking about, but the L-head ran from 41-53. If you look below my 50 & 51 have the F-134.

My service manual shows 100 psi for the L-head and 120-130 psi for the F-head. Nickmil.

Thanks guys, The jeep wasnt worth the money the guy was asking for it. I sure would have liked to have the warn winch he had on it. I really wanted to buy a flat fender anyways. Thanks again.

If it was a '51 and wasn't a flatfender then was it a pickup or wagon?

It was a military model and had the same fenders as my 1970. I dont know much about the early models. The man that owned it said it was a 1951.

So, then it had round CJ5 fenders? Would be at least a '52. F-head engine, not a flathead?
