I think they're all the same from the mid 60s through 1975. Not sure that it's worth it to fab them - just look around for used brackets. They aren't common, but not scarce either.

    Where are you located?

I had a '69. Not sure if I've still got pics but they were posted here a buncha times in reply to a similar question.

I did this two times. The first time I used the stock seat brackets. Like you the drivers side bolts right up but the pass side isn't a perfect match.

I simply cut a piece of 18 gauge metal to the size of the bottom of the seat. I laid out two sets of holes. One set matched the layout of the holes in the seat, and one set matched the layout of the holes in the frame. Then I bolted the metal to the frame and then turned the frame over and bolted the seat to the metal. Piece of cake. Took about an hour with a jigsaw and 8 bolts.

The next time I worked on my seats, I ditched the old frames alltogether and made a new frame that spanned from one side of the vehicle to the other. I did this because I didn't like the pass side seat sitting higher than the driver's side, which was stock for some odd reason.

    Humm.. intresting

was the seat still able to detach and everything...

maybe if you can show some pic...i have an idea of wat you did but how did it detach did you have to undo the bolts...or did you just have to fit you hand under to the gun box. I still will need axcess to it.

This is mine. The post on the seat portion of the bracket is flattened
off on 2 sides. It fit's in the notch on the tub mounted portion of
the frame. When you tip the seat forward you can remove the seat
pulling it to up and to the rear.
