Roll cage swap?

    Do you think this cage from a 1980 cj5 would fit into my '66.

    How much cutting welding?

    It's listed for $300 on CL.

    After 1976, the outside dimensions of the tub are the same, but the floors and wheel wells were different. I'd expect it will be close, but not an exact fit. JMO - $300 is pretty high for a roll cage that you may (probably will?) have to cut and weld to make fit.

    Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like that front hoop would be a real knee-buster..

    I just sold a full cage for $50 that was in decent shape, seems you should be able to do better IMO.
