output shaft on transfercase

    What size is the nut that holds the output shaft on the back of the transfercase (the piece that the drive shaft mounts to)? I dont have one to fit it around here and was going to pick one up after work tomorrow thanks for the help.

    Parts book says 3/4"-16 but I know from personal experience that they changed the tread count somewheres along the line, so, YMMV.

    The nut is speacial everything I have read including my rebuild kit said use once.
    If you use a normal nut make sure and use lock washer and thread lock.
