Drum Brake Springs

    '75 CJ5 - Drums....

    Regarding the 2 springs over the hubs....

    Does it matter which way the hooks on the end of the springs go over the rod at the top center, in between the shoes?.....

    On one side(left) the hooks on the springs go under the rod and , on the other side(right) the hooks on the spring go over the rod

    no, it shouldn't matter
    I like to squeeze the hooks closed a little once they are installed on the peg.
