custom soft top opinions/ideas

I met w/ my upholsterer this weekend and it would appear that I can have a custom top made for the 6 for just a few hundred more than a tigertop. He has quite a bit of experience and a strong portfolio of pics so this is the route I'm going to go. Many of you posted pics when I asked before so..........help me get all the details of what I should have done, design/quality/ergonomics, etc.

Yea I've already been contacted by a earlycj5 member about having him make 2 tops instead of 1. I've got doors and am modifying the hardware to work on the 6...he's gonna make a complete top including windows/ recovering doors, etc...to our exacting specs...gonna be after the first of the year.
