I am to the point now to where I need to place my 225 / T-90 / D18 in the frame (CJ2A) and try to determine the best place for the mounts.
I've been told to place the engine, trans, and TC as a unit. I have a two ton engine hoist to work with.
What is the best way (location) to attach chains in order to manuver the unit easily. I'm a little nervous about too much strain on the alumonum bellhousing and adapter.
Does anyone have a diagram or any good tips? I did an archive search but didn't find what I was looking for.
As always your input is appreciated,
    Tommy

Lift it with a chain attached to the intake manifold bolts. One bolt on the front of the motor and one on the opposite side rear of the intake. Thread the chain thru the hook on your lift and shift it around to balance the assembly.

I have a leveler on my lift that I bolt the 4 top corners of the intake to. It allows an easier load level (it can crank by hand or socket). The last one I did had the SM465, D18 and OD all hooked up as well. The BH can take it, or you don't want to use that one :)
