I'm sure this has been asked many times before but rather get started correctly.
I lost the 225 in my 67 cj spun bearings and damaged the crank (dam sand dunes) I located what I belive is a even fire 231 block number 25506818. My understanding is that the only difference in the engines is how they are balanced as far as this swap. My question is can I just have my 225 flywheel balanced and be good to go with this 231?

    Thanks, Frank

I might be in the same position. I'm talking to a guy about a 231. As far as I know, you can balance the flywheel and be good to go.

I want to know if you can just use the 231 flywheel, the one I might get comes with the flywheel. Is it possible to use the 231 flywheel?
