3 inch body lift?????

The P.O. of my 1974 CJ5 put a 3 inch body lift on it and made a cobbled togather clutch linkage and moving the part of the clutch linkage that bolts to the frame to where only one bolt holds it on. Does anyone have any pictures of there set ups or ideas with a body lift. Could I just cut the extended rod down that they put in and move the mounting point back to factory set up and make a new rod or will this put everything in a bind? I will try to get some picture of it to help yall picture what it looks like cause I know its hard to tell if something binds by just what im explaining.

 

These are shots from my 74 CJ5 with approx. .5 - 1'' body lift. Clutch is almost out of travel and fork may be bent but clutch has ben ok up till this last year. I'm a little hard on it I admit but it is fun.

 

Thats pretty close to how mine looks it seems to work fine but I havent driven it around any yet so I guess Ill give a test and see how it goes.
