Shocks

    I am in the process of replacing the shocks on my 1978 CJ5 which is all original excludiing the shocks of course. I assume the original color of the shocks were black-can anyone confirm? I would like to keep it the way it looked coming from the factory.

    Believe they were. Not sure though, ones I took of my 75 were and think the are orig. No oil in them and rusty as imaginable.
