1978 CJ5 Shift Knob

    Can anyone show me a photo of the correct shift knob for a 1978 CJ5 3 spd? I have tried looking in several books and on-line search and most show exterior photos or modified shifters.

    I can get a pic Friday. Mines a wood knob engraved. There is an "I" sideways. R is upper left corner, 1 is lower left, 2 is upper right and 3 is lower right. When I sanded it it is some sort of medium shade wood- not light enough for pine.

    One of the first things I did was get rid of the org shift knob, after getting my new 78. If I can find it I will post a pic. It was black and looked like 3 pieces of vinyl stitched around a oval with the top flattened. It wasn't actually stitched, just form molded that way.
