D27 axles in D30

    Would Dana 27 axles work on a narrow trac Dana 30 from a 1976 and up? And could I use the warn hubs off the D27 on the D30?

    I don't think it'd work. The Dana 30 is about 3" wider (1.5" per side) than a Dana 27. I also doubt the axles are the same size where they fit through the knuckle / spindle. The D27 uses bushings in the spindle while the D30 has bearings.

    besides the differences Toolmaker has noted, the axle splines are different as well, 10 vs 27.
