    Hello from cold Holland.

    Does anyone have a picture from a sending fule ring on top of the gas tank of a 69 cj5?
    I have an old one with 6 hole in it and bought a new one without holes and a lot smaller. Now I am finding out how to attacht this new one

    Are you installing a new fuel sender and float assy? If that is what your doing and it is not a direct bolt on, (same ring size) you may have a different sender resistance value and it may not work properly with your gauge.

    I don't have a picture, but if you don't have the lock ring, you could maybe get one from the supplier of the tank. As Walt mentioned, you need a different style of sender with the lock ring, with no holes and a rubber o-ring.

    The ealier flat fender jeeps had a smaller diameter ring than the later ECJ5s.
