1969 tub on a 1972 frame

I just want to verify my thoughts...

In my local paper today is a 1969 CJ-5 with a T-18 and a 350 chevy, for $600.

I would love a T-18 plus my tub is shot. After doing some research I have found that the tub from a '55-'75 should be the same as mine. He reports this being a 95% rust free body. Would this replace my tub? I think that the fenders on the '72 are longer, but will the tub fit? What modifications will have to make if I purchase this whole jeep and part it out? Will 1972 fenders bolt on? I am pretty sure it will, but I want to make sure I haven't missed something in my research. He is about 2 hours away and I want to make sure I am right before I drive over to have a look.
