Does any body have any suggestions to help me out. I have a 68 cj-5 that on the drivers side the channeling in between the tub and frame is rusted out and the jeep sits crooked. Do they make replacement channels for this or do i need to fab some spacers. Does anybody know the correct height of this channel or height of the spacer. I'm real close to getting this jeep back on the road and I need to get this issue resolved. Thanks for any feedback it will help. Keith

Check this website out, I found this one day at work they seem to have almost every bit of replacement steel either of us could need.

That's your hat channels. Do a search, I found out how to replace mine by doing a search.. If it's bad enough you may want to do both sides.

They are about as deep as a hockey puck. About 1" thick.

1 x 2 channel will slip over the original hat channels.

Also, the 1x2" channel fix is a LOT easier to do with the tub on the frame!
