I have a question on an 11" rear brake conversion on my cj2. I got some parts from a 1966 wagoneer with the tapered axles but it was missing the right rear drum and hub. Can I use the hub off my 9" drums ? Also what is the best way to get the hub off the drum? Thanks

you should be able to use your existing rear hub.
the hub and drum are swaged together; the part of the stud that is swaged to hold the drum needs to be cut away, so the two will seperate; if you're not planning on reusing the 9" drum, use a hole saw (or a BFH, don't bend/break the hub, support from underneath) and drill away; you will need to install new studs; use later studs (shorter shoulder) so you won't have to swag the units together.

Thanks.I thought the hub should work.I have access to a 30 ton press,I was wondering if that would work for pushing the studs out if I support it with a socket. Also I got a drum from a 1969 wagoneer with a flanged rear axle, it looks like it should work for the one I'm missing. Barry

The press and socket method will work just fine , but be sure to cut the swaged area like jpflat2a said. If you dont the swaged part of the stud will push through the flange and will oversize the hole , then when you go to put the new studs in you will find that they are a loose fit...may even fall out (push thru) if you bump them with the rim when mounting the rim/tire.
