I'll be getting my EZ 12 mini in a few days and am thinking about wiring the jeep before painting I'll paint interior and dash first. After wiring I'll build the seat frames then disassemble the whole thing to paint. I just figure it will be easier to wire without the seats and new paint to scratch. Stop me if I'm wrong.

Install seats very last...Id paint everything first, well build your seat frames first then paint. Wire the dash while its on the workbench then get someone to give you a hand installing it so you dont scratch it. Just make sure to drill your mounts for the fuse panel before you paint, so you dont take the risk of chipping it while your drilling the holes.

IMHO wiring after paint is the way to go...can't imagine getting a good paint job with all the wires still in there.

I'd build seat frames, then paint, then wire.

Once the paint has cured just lay blankets over it (I've also got cardboard down) to protect it.

I had to wire the dash in place due to the rollcage being in the way - it wasn't too bad.
