Transmission Cover Floor Panel

    Does anyone know why I can not find the floor panel that covers the transmission for a 1974 CJ5? Ive looked everywhere. I have found some in the salvage yards for 72 to 75 CJ5s that have the tool box but mine does not and the cover is longer then thoes that Ive found. Any help is appreciated.

    All the CJs to '75 came with the under-seat toolbox. The '76-on floors are different - but that's all the factory variants. Maybe you could post a picture?

    I made one out of some thin sheet metal. I tried to adapt one from a later cj with no luck.
