OEM Black Paint Question

    Does anyone know what type of black paint was used in 1974 by AMC for the frame, bumpers, draw bar, side steps, etc. I'm restoring a 74 CJ5 back to original for show and don't know if it should be gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or what. Should it have any flattener in the paint?

    Raven Black = Ditzler Code # 9000
    Dupont # 93-005
    believe these to be correct codes for the exterior
