Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been gathering parts and started the 8 lug conversion on my 10 bolt. The rear axle is in place and the spring hangers and shackle mounts are tacked in place. I also picked up an SM465/NP208 combo.

ugh I remember makin all my drivetrain look pretty and man it was a messy job.

have you been over the underbody to remove all the crap, or are ya just gonna leave it?

 

Once i get the suspension sorted and the engine placement figured out I am going to pull the body off and clean up the frame, box it and rebuild as necessary. Then I'll do the body and will probably build a rotisserie to get at it and clean it up and replace the rusted metal. I'd rather have lots of room to work on the chassis and that way I can build it up nice and clean without having to work upside down most of the time R)
