Last night watching the DIY Channel they showed a tip of using a few drops of peroxide to remove rusty nuts from bolts. In all the threads on removing rusty bolts I have never heard of using peroxide. Does anyone have experience with this?

The wife just told me her Dad used Coca-Cola for that job. Then he would drink the rest with some Jack.R)

Don't know about using Coke on rusty bolts, but it does work on batteries to neutralize the the buildup on them. My Grandpa used to use it for that, kept a bottle in the shed for it.

I've done that too. You have to use the original formula though. The new stuff just doesn't act the same.
