75 manual steering box spline count

    Does anyone know the input and output spline count on a 1975 cj5 manual steering gear box??

    ok,

    the input (small diameter) shaft has 36 splines.

    the sector shaft (output - pitman arm attaches to it) has 32 splines, in groups of 8, with a gap between each group (4 gaps total).
