I have a 73 bullnose. I am having a hard time finding a front bumper. I am looking for an off road style bumper with a built in winch plate. I have searched all the websites I could find and they are all too short (50 inch is the longest). I need a 60 inch bumper. HELP!

    Thanks,
    Chris

Unless you get real lucky and find an original factory front winch bumper, which BTW are not real purdy, IMO anyway, you'll be better off building your own although I thought I read somewhere about CJ's being used. Or have you already checked those?
Guess I should clarify that, they're not purdy but boy, are they sturdy

    Pat Rack,

Thanks for the info. I have looked at most all of the Jeep bumper resources I could find. I am not looking for the original look. I have been looking at bumpers for the scout and bronco to see if I see anything I like. I think I will have better luck looking for bumpers made for another vehile with the same width. I am not worried about the proper fit. I can fabricate something to make it fit. I am just looking for dimensions that are close to 60 inches and the features I am looking for.

The front frame horn should be the same width for a CJ bmper between 72-75 would fit. But welcome to the world of Bullnoses and commandos, you wont find anything unless it is custom made. Or you make something work from another jeep.

I found a rear bumper that I should have pretty soon, but not a front yet let alone with a winch mount. The bumpers on my'72 are made of 3" ship channel.
