    Okay here we go,

I have a 1967 cj5 with a 225 in it, I want to convert over to power steering as I have my manul all tornout. I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidence on the best way to achieve this. I have heard that a donor from an xy can be converted to my cj. Anyone have any ideas of what years are better than others? Any and all suggestions, comments and crituques are openly welcome.

    Thanks to all

I took the "easy" way out and used AA for the frame mounts and headers. I used a four bolt "800" box and made a brace to connect the right/ left frame horns. The PS pump bracket was the original smog pump mount, as the pulleys lined up perfectly. I went with a tilt Ididit column, which (10 years later) has proved it's worth as my "girth" has slightly increased. Since the conversion, I've had ZERO problems with any part of the system... HTH!
