Tonight I pulled the bellhousing off the cj5 to determine exactly what clutch kit I need to order and none of the kits I can find pictures of have a pressure plate that looks like this one. Insteal of the pressure plate frame mounting with three 'feet' like most of the ones I see this one has a solid ring around the outside that is bolted to the flywheel. This clutch is between a T90 and a factory Perkins diesel.

If anyone has an idea of another application this pressure plate was in please let me know.

    Thanks,
    -Dean

That looks like an 9" Auburn which was an heavy duty option.

    See here for a comparison-

Parts a easily available, I got mine from a local FLAPS. Whatever you do if you pull it apart don't loose the %^$#* little clips that hold the ends of the pivot arms to pressure plate screws, I think I got the last three in the known world .

Thanks for the reply Howard. That is definitely the clutch I have. I looked online and found it at Napa and Parts America... p/n MU16761B. The frame of the pressure plate looks a little different but the bolt pattern looks the same and it's listed as a part for a CJ5 (9.25 inch clutch, 10 spline).

    Thanks again,
    -Dean

I plan to document everything as best I can, pics, measurements, and maybe some tracings of the bolt patterns. If anyone wants some specific info let me know and I'll try to get it for them.
