My cj5 "OverKill"

    Well Ive been rebuilding my 1968 Cj5 for about 3 years now and am finally getting close to drivable. So bout time I did a little right up. Well Its a 68 Cj5 with :v6: t86 3.73s. I have done headers, cam, intake, 470 TA holley. BDS Lift kit with some 3/4 lift shackles. 33/12.50 BFG AT's. Most recent mods, bumpers front and rear, rock rails, and today heim tie rods and drag link and ps Saginaw box.and some pics for all you guys.

    FRONT BUMPER
    1/8 wall 2x4 tube with set in mounts and boxed ends.
    15,000 lbs shackles welded to 3/8ths plate then to bumper.

    ROCK RAILS
    1/4 wall 5x5 angle with 1/4 wall 2x2 tube welded and boxed ends

    REAR BUMPER
    Same box as front but with one 30,000 lbs shackle and 3/8ths plate on back up against original bumper with original rivets and welded to frame.

    TIE RODS
    1.5 tube 1/4 wall 5/8s hole 3/4 shank heims with some misalignment bushings.

    ORO TAIL LIGHTS
    With longer mounting bolts so they don't thread into body, they go through body and have lock nuts and fender washers on back.

    COMING SOONR)
    Steering column with quick disconnect wheel.
    Fuel line routing.
    Sheet metal dash with gauges and plenty o switches.
    Rigging up some electrical with plenty of relays and fuses so it all works.
