Air Cleaner Replacement

Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement for the oil bath air cleaner on the Dauntless? I'd like something easier to maintain. When I go to the local supply houses I get no help. I want to retain the input for the breather tube.

Oh, also looking for a source for the water pump bypass hose. I can get upper and lower radiator hoses locally, but haven't found the little right angle hose online even. I have a water pump to replace soon and want to replace that hose as well. Thanx!

I was able to get the bypass hose at Auto Zone, an exact fit. They might have to look under Buick.

Regarding the air cleaner, Jeep also supplied the later CJs with the :v6:a dry filter air cleaner. you might be able to find one, or you could junkyard search: the 2G carb has been around on a lot of vehicles.

 

Later 231/ 350 Buicks into the 80's use the same by-pass hose. I don't know if i have a new one around here with the part number on it, I doubt it but I'll have a look.
As Txjake says should be easy enough to still find an air breather assembly at the salvage yard that will fit. Even an old 60's Gladiator or Wagoneer with the 350 will work.

 

K&N makes a filter that will fit the 2GC Carb. It also has the fitting to connect the breater tube to. The part # through Summit is KNN-60-1070. Here is a picture of it on my Jeepster.
