    Hello folks
My 1955 CJ 5 has developed a slight lean to her driver side.
When I look at the pass side there is about a inch or so gap between the frame and the bottem of the fender.
On the drivers side the bottom of the fender is pretty much on the frame.
    Any ideas
    Thanks
    Jason

Have you done a search?? It's been talked about quite a bit in the past.
    Search "jeep lean".

I have done a search but there does not seam to be a good answer.
t seams that folks all try the same thing with no change in the ride hieght.
What if I had a spring like a helper spring to the driver side.
    Would this help
    Thanks
    Jason

There is no way to adjust the height of a helper spring. Might also make driving
a bit of a problem. If they are the original springs it may be time for new ones...

Does it really bother you? Mine leans. It doesn't bother me.

Even brand new Jeeps from the factory would lean. The typical lean does not seem to have any negative effect, other than bothering owners.

The lower side is designed to be the uphill side while wheeling:)

Sounds like a weak hat channel or body mount to me. A weak spring shouldn't effect the body gap between the fender and frame. Park on a level spot, put it up on some jackstands to level the frame and then check the body for level. If you still have a lean, put a block on your jack and gently lift up on the low side. It may be as simple as putting in a larger body spacer on the offending area. HTH

Right on, man. That's what I was thinking. Most discussions on lean center around some anomoly with mismatched springs, one spring bushing worn more than the opposite side, etc. This sounds as simple as maybe needing to shim up or replace body bushings or shore up damaged body mount points.

Also be sure to check for cracked frame rail from steering box forward.
