Tubing size for seat brackets?

    I know seat brackets have been discussed ad nauseam.:rofl:
    I did the search thing and read for 30 minutes with out finding my answer.

    I need to know what diameter and gauge tubing one would typically use for brackets that would bolt to door frame?

    Are there any aftermarket seat brackets I can just bolt in then maybe weld some rails to?

    I used 1x1 square tubing to make my seat frames. I jsut went across and for the foot to bolt to the tub side i used a 1/4 inch thick piece of 1 inch stock, jsut welded it to the bottom of the square tubing. works just fine :)

    Can't buy them new, AFAIK. I got one of mine from a member here, and the other from ebay.....

    I just picked up 11 gauge (1/8") 1.25 square for mine from Dillon Supply. $25 for 20 feet. I'll have a little left over for something.
