I have my new frame in the garage. Going to start cutting off the old spring mounts and such. I am thinknig ahead of my spring setup. I have RE SOA springs. Well it is a little too high for my liking. But i like the springs snce they have a reverse eye setup and this gives me some more space between the frame and axle. My question is, i need to see some pics or get some ideas on how to sink the spring mounts into the frame, or rather on the side of the frame since i am going to outboard the mounts. So i can spare about 2 inches so i can still have some space between my springs and frame without bottomnig out. But if anyone has some pics of theri setup, it would be greatly aprpeciated.

Are you leaving the shackle in front of the axle or doing a reverse shackle? Either way you could move the upper bolt hole to go thorugh the frame, just cut it out sleeve it and go from there. As for the other end I dont have any links handy but I know alot of toyota guys are recessing the fixed end of the spring in the frame, might be able to search around and find some pics of it.

I am keeping the regular setup with the springs in front, but at times i think about doing a reversal, but I am leaning towards making a hanger that is on the face of the front and rear bumper to have the shackle bolt to

Thats what I did on gold, just make sure to plate them with something thick. Im glad I did now, because after 2 rides they have already taken a couple hard hits due to being out in the front like they are.
