    Just curious, does anyone ever (need to) trim the threaded end of their replacement cable to make it work? The last couple I've purchsed thru Krage's I've done so and experienced premature failure. It's probably just me...:rofl: TIA

    I just replaced mine, but did not trim the threaded end. I got mine from a 4 wheel parts place in Tulsa, OK. Fits and works fine

    I trimmed the threads on my last cable. It eventually failed but on the pedal end. Sometimes you just don't have a choice unless you replace it.
