Been working on a lack of power problem and noticed a post about vacuum leaks and the fuel pump. This jeep does not have any vacuum wipers or any vacuum lines that I can tell. There is a place (cannot determine if it's threaded or not) near the bottom of the fuel pump that I can put my finger over and it feels like air being pumped out.. Is this normal or should it be plugged?

    thanks

There are 2 types of fuel pumps. One tht includes a vacuum pump and one without. If you don't have need for the vacuum you can go with the simpler design. In the interim, yes the whole should be plugged.
