Bought a 1974 CJ5 Sunday and it has a fuel tank from Trail Blazer Inc, a division of Trail Best Companies, anyone have more info for me? I thought it was just a skid plate but when I removed the body I found it is a custom tank.
    Any info would be great!
    Thanks,
    Kyle

There used to be a company called Trailblazer/Trail Blazer out of Portland Oregon. They made aux and replacement tanks for Jeeps, Wagoneers, Blazers etc back in the mid to late 70s. Unkown if they are still in business.
A replacement tank would typically be maybe 10 gallons larger than the stock tank, and the tank material was made out of steel. Most were straight replacement/bolt in installation, no mods necc.
might be the same company you are asking about.

    Thanks for the info.
There is a sticker that says the company was in Idaho, guess they are the same company?
