Axle Bearings

    Sorry for the previous wrong thread. 1961 CJ 5 stock. Dana 44 19 spline. Replacing the axle bearings. The drivers side sits about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in from the raised part of the axle. That would be toward the wheel.
    The passengers side sits up against the raised portion of the axle. Is the drivers side no on far enough?
    Also I have a cracked hub on the drivers side at the end of the key way.

    I would say either not on far enough or the bearing has "spun" on the axle shaft and is moving/walking around....not good at all
