... for the Ross bellcrank to be riveted and welded to the crossmember? Just wondering if I should be cursing a PO or the factory. I will give credit for the welds being the best beads on the entire Jeep.

Mine was riveted and welded. I was beating and beating on it until I got frustrated enough to stop and take a good look. That's when i found the welds. Actually, when I ground off and beat out the last rivet and it still wouldn't move, I figured something else had to be going on.

Yet another humbling Jeep experience. :)

That's exactly what I did. When a 3# sledge and punch couldn't move the rivets after cutting off the heads, I figured there was more to the picture. OK, so it's the factory I need to be cussing out.

I think the jeep will tear apart before that ross mount gets off the frame. I tried to remove mine and gave up. I decided it just wanted to be there so i let it stay :)

Mine was riveted and welded. I took it off after the saginaw conversion.
Didn't take long, about 10 minutes of grinding the welds and a few minutes on each of the rivets I then punched the rivets out with a hammer and a pin punch.
