I ordered a clutch it is a 8.5 inch the one on my jeep is a 9.25 inch the 8.5 will fit but will it cause any problems I really don't want to spend the money again. My cj5 is a 62 but I have no Idea what year the engine and tranny is. Please help if it will work I will put it in. If not I will order a new one.

If your flywheel is drilled for both sizes (some were), it will work. The larger clutch was a heavy duty option on later years IIRC. I parted out a '69 that had the dual drilled flywheel, haven't seen it yet on the earlier ones. Be sure and check your spline count and replace the pilot bushing while you're in there.
