How to paint gas tank skid plate ?

    Hi all

    I will have my new gas tank skid plate tomorrow. It will be done in 3/16 think sheet metal.

    How do you suggest I finish the inside of it ? I was thinking some sort of gravel gard, or some sort of rubburised liner. This is for the inside. The outside will be black tremclad, mainly because anything I put there will find itself on the rocks and stump....

    So, any ideas ?

    I just did mine same as the outside. I didn't want any kind of texture that might retain moisture.
