Fuel Pump

I just changed my fuel pump on my JEEP this past weekend and it was simple. The question I have though is...I now have a return line nipple on the pump and I did not on the old one. I was wondering if I could tie into the vent line by my filler hose? I have no other place that I can see to attach it to. Thank you for any help.

I forgot to say I did get two responses about the return nipple being on the pump on both a 68 and 69 jeep. I just wanted to know if I coud do what I want to do.

I would just cap it off.
